Infant sizes of 3-6 Months and 6-18 Months are thumbless (no thumbs). The larger sizes of 2-3 Years and 4-6 Years have thumbs only.

Are these machine washable

Yes. Machine wash warm is recommended.

Are these waterproof for snow play?

No. The fleece material offers some water resistance. If you're child will have extended snow play we recommend also purchasing kids waterproof Thinsulate mittens.
